Romeo And Juliet Essay

Mercutio, fun , playful and a jokester but how do these traits affect the storie of Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet was written by William Sheakspere. It is about 2 star crossed lovers who cant be together due to the hatred of their parents. I believe that Mercutio's negative traits and positive traits both played a role in the play.

One of the positive traits that play a role in the plays is that he loves to cheer up the moment when every thing is sad and down. Like when they were walking to the party of the capulets mercutio was joking with him even though romeo was sad because of Rosaline.  One other positive that plays a role in the play is ears no man for example in Act 3, Scene 1 lines 55 Mercutio's says "Mens eyes were made to look, and let them gaze. I will not budge for no mans pleasure , I." This means he doesn't care if people are looking at him.

One negative trait that played a role in the play is that he hates the capulets even though he has no reason to hate them. Its sort of relates to peer pressure a little because Mercutio is Romeos best friend so he automatically hates the capulets. This led to his death because he ended up fighting Tybalt and dying. One other negative trait that played a role in the play is that he gets to carried away for example in Act 1, Scene 4 lines 59-100 Mercutio gets really carried away with the Queen Mab speech and says a lot of stuff and he gets really angry for no reason.

In conclusion, the text relates to the world because when parents hate each other it can affect the children as well and then the children will go through no restraints to see each other.

non-fiction reading response

I have read this article about the recent bombing during the boston marathon. it is called Boston Bomb Suspect Spotted Video, No Arrest Made by Mark Hosenball. it talks about suspects running minutes before the blast. so thats a big mystery and something that weirded me out was that the bomb was made out of a battery and some scrap metal and it had bbs and some nails in it. it really surprised me that the bomb that caused so much mayhem. imagine if the bomb was bigger. i dont even want to imagine it. then there was footage of a man on the roof of a building maybe he could've been a suspect i sure think so. and i cant believe no arrest have been made they should have some idea who did it or maybe a suspect .

Reading Response

One book that I have read World War Z By Max Brooks. This book was very interesting it was told by many people almost as in it was an interview  and everybody was telling their story of when they were overcoming the zombie apocalypse.

Everyone that the reporter was interviewing  was either crazy or traumatized because they lost a loved one or they didn't know that that could happen. and the interviewer had his own story but i will let you see that on your own. also the kids were especially traumatized because they lost their parents to the plauge of zombies.

And theirs side storys to. they give a little information so that you dont get confused when they just start  jumping around the plot then your standing their like whoa calm down when did they get robots or something

I recommend this book to anyone  who loves zombie apocalypse stories or just likes interviews i dont judge really

reading response

The book i have been reading is called I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore. This is a great book it has a lot of components a good book should have. This book had a lot of adventure and a lot of suspense so Pittacus did a good job on that.

In this book john which is the main character. John is a pseudonym so that the Mogadorians dont locate him and kill him. But he had this charm on where he could only be killed in his order now its his turn to run from the Mogadorians. Now he is on the run.

The reason he is on earth in the first place ids because the mogadorians invaded his home planet Lorien so the elder [Pittacus Lore] sent the nine Garde and there keepers to earth. The Garde is Johns race.

I really recommend this book to anybody i know they will like even if you like romance or adventure you'll find something you like about this book.

reading response

This reading response will be on 2 books because its series that has to be together. These books are called Maus part one and two. These books were very interesting they taught me more about the world wars. this taught me mor of the holocaust and all the horrors through the eyes of Vladek Spingleman (a survivor of the holocaust). He goes through so much and survives everything. But hes telling this story to his son Art Spingleman.this book is like as if they are right there but they are not. Also the jews are mice and the nazis german. I also noticed that the polish were pigs literally they were pigs. there were parts of the book were art would act as if he were in real life as in currently wearing a mouse mask. so vladek told his son all the storys and storys of his current life. i really recommend this book to anybody who is a history fanatic or anybody looking for a good book.
